It recently supported the Wälderexpress, a project of Rhomberg Bau GmbH, with a commuter flow analysis that calculates expected passenger volumes and CO2 emissions at the same time. By analyzing mobile phone data and commuter statistics, optimal routes can be calculated, which are combined with spatial parameters, such as the distance from planned stations, to produce a statistical transfer probability of future users. According to the vision, the new Wälderexpress, an autonomously driving train with environmentally friendly propulsion, will mobilize the region between the Rhine Valley and the Bregenz Forest, benefiting commuters, vacationers and thus the region.

In addition, the tool shows its versatility in optimizing operational mobility, public transport networks and in organizing shuttles at festivals and major events. With its database-based simulations, the Linz-based start-up offers the analysis of mobility situations and their optimal solutions. During the modeling process, local public transport operators and other services are seamlessly linked, which not only reduces traffic but also makes public transport more attractive, thus offering municipal added value.
