Urban researcher, mobility expert and architect Katja Schechtner, among other things a visiting researcher at MIT in Boston, gave a lecture on 'Mobility in the City of Short Distances: Learning from the Global South' at visionSTAGE.

The panda discussion 'Mobility forms in the city of short distances' with Prof. Dr. Uwe Schneidwind (Lord Mayor of the City of Wuppertal, Katja Schechtner (among others MIT Boston), Juliane Krause (office owner | plan&rat, office for municipal planning and consulting), Christine Wenzel (Director Public Policy for DACH and CEE | TIER Mobility SE) and moderator Andrea Reidl was dedicated to these questions, among others: How suitable are micromobility offers for everyday use and who do they benefit? How can short-distance mobility be made as sustainable as possible and how can changes be accepted by the population? What solutions are there in other parts of the world?

The aim is to increase the visibility of Cargobike-Sharing systems and to promote them. The conference is organised by the Berlin agency cargobike.jetzt and hosted by polisMOBILITY.
