Testimonials polisMOBILITY 2022

For Toyota, polisMOBILITY was a forum for a dialogue with other exhibitors and decision makers who, like us, are actively helping to shape the transport transition and want to drive it forward decisively. Toyota has always been synonymous with embracing technology. The opportunity to speak directly to local citizens and to present developments such as our mobility showcase in the inner city made the event a platform in tune with the times. The new concept of simultaneously combining a classic trade fair accompanied by a series of talks with a citizens’ dialogue in the inner city was highly successful.

André Schmidt
President, Toyota Deutschland

We are very consciously committed to Cologne and the Rhine region and see ourselves as a long-term partner with an important and justified interest in the mobility transition in urban environments. Our vision is that micromobility can and must be as reliable, safe and affordable as local public transport.

Sebastian Schlebusch
Head of Market Development, Dott

The mobility of the future will be transformed by digitalisation. As Deutsche Telekom, we are among those driving digitalisation forward. That’s why it was very important for us to meet with all the key stakeholders in mobility here at polisMOBILITY.

Dr Olga Nevska
Managing Director, Telekom MobilitySolutions

Birò’s mission is to make electric mobility in the city as easy as possible. We have therefore designed the smallest four-wheel vehicle on the market with a removable battery: easy to park, easy to recharge. With this concept, we will make people’s lives easier and cities cleaner.

Matteo Maestri
Founder and CEO, Birò

Ideologies that are almost diametrically opposed still clash over the mobility transition. polisMOBILITY clearly brings together the right stakeholders who are capable of dispelling these ideologies so that joint solutions can be found. The event is superb in this respect.

Professor Günther Schuh
CEO, e.Volution GmbH

I’m delighted to be here in Cologne for the first edition of polisMOBILITY. As far as I know, it’s the first trade fair for smart mobility and smart cities in Germany. The issue is at the cutting edge because mobility simply must be more about sharing. It must be innovative, sustainable and, in some cases, autonomous. And from our perspective at FREE NOW, platforms will be the key to mobility. It’s great to see more and more initiatives here in Cologne promoting this vision of sustainable mobility.

Silvia Fischer
Vice President Smart Mobility, FREE NOW

Science meets city. The Cologne Science Forum is delighted to be here on the grounds of Koelnmesse for polisMOBILITY to discuss a crucial issue: What will the cities of the future look like? Answering this question will require partnerships between the actors within a city but also between cities, which are all having to face the same global challenges. The symposium is an example of how we can learn from each other – across national borders and fields of responsibility.

Professor Stefan Herzig
President, TH Köln, University of Applied Sciences
