About Kerstin Haarmann
Kerstin Haarmann LL.M. MBA, 57 years old, has been honorary Federal Chairwoman of Verkehrsclub Deutschland e.V. (VCD) for over 5 years. She was an international corporate lawyer, including 5 years as Chief Legal Counsel of an MDAX-listed IT company. She then switched her career to association management: renewable energy and sustainable mobility. Together with her husband, she runs a non-profit limited company dedicated to sustainable business and living. She has also been actively involved in local politics for many years. She says that mobility must focus on people, not modes of transport.
