Description

Bicycle lanes, mobility stations for eScooters and rental bikes, digital tickets for buses and trains: Mobility is changing, especially in urban areas. More and more digital and sharing services complement the mobility landscape and thus also change the cityscape. In the panel discussion ""Intersectionality in mobility planning: How can the transformation of transport succeed?"", experts from the network "Women in Mobility" will focus on the needs and behaviour of target groups that are all too often forgotten in mobility planning:

Dr. Ing. Ines Kawgan-Kagan, gender and mobility expert, founder of the AEM Institute

Christina Marx, Head of Education and Communication at Aktion Mensch

Simone Kraus, organiser of the action alliance Kidical Mass Cologne

discuss how mobility offers have to be planned and designed so that they are usable for as many people as possible. They will also present concepts and services from companies and municipalities that are particularly worthy of imitation. Kerstin Dämon (VDV eTicket Service) will moderate the event.
