Time is pressing – traffic jams, high traffic-related emissions and inefficient transport are leading to gridlock in more and more cities. In the urban space of the future, the means of transport must be more sustainable, more efficient and smarter in order to continue to be attractive for residents and companies – and to achieve climate protection goals. In the liveable city of the future, traffic must be networked more intelligently. But will connectivity in the smart city come at the expense of individual transport? We are discussing with transport planners, consultancies and science which means of transport will move us in the city in the future.
